Shingleton, Foringer

Elisabeth and Matthew Foringer

Elisabeth Shingleton of Prospect and Matthew Foringer of Butler were united in marriage Oct. 17 at Greystone Fields in Gibsonia. The Rev. Thomas Bodie officiated. A reception followed at the Greystone Fields.

The bride is the daughter of James and Fredericka Shingleton. Parents of the bridegroom are Patricia Foringer of Butler and the late Charles Foringer.

The honor attendant was Andrea Anderson of Renfrew. Bridesmaids included Nichole Saracco of Mercer, Kimberly Boyle of Renfrew and Jill Hutchko of Williamsburg, Va. The flower girl was Julia Foringer of Munroe Falls, Ohio.

Performing the duties of best man was Nicholas Leslie of Butler. Ushers included Jay Foringer of Munroe Falls, Christopher Foringer of Butler and Stephen Leslie of Butler. The ring bearers were Bradley and Taylor Shingleton of Anderson, Calif.

The bride is a 1998 graduate of Slippery Rock High School and a 2010 graduate of La Roche College, where she received a bachelor's degree in psychology. She is employed by the Community Health Clinic of Butler County in Butler.

The bridegroom graduated in 1999 from Butler High School and in 2003 from Penn State Behrend with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. He is employed by Matrix Services in Wexford.

Following a honeymoon trip to Napa Valley, Calif., the couple is making their home in Prospect.
