Commissioners, BC3 settle lawsuit against county controller
The Butler County commissioners' lawsuit against Controller Jack McMillin for withholding a more than $1.2 million county appropriation for Butler County Community College is settled.
Upon receiving notification that the college committed to an independent cost analysis of operating satellite campuses in Lawrence and Mercer counties, McMillin this morning released the check to the college.
The commissioners subsequently announced today the lawsuit they and the college filed against McMillin on April 14 would be discontinued.
