PROSPECT — St. Christopher At The Lake Church, Route 528, will host an Italian dinner and flea market from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday.

BUTLER TWP — A rabies clinic will be held 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at 148 Rockdale Road. Cats must be in a carrier and dogs must be on a leash. Pets must be at least 12 weeks old; $9 per pet. Proceeds benefit Hope House Ministries. Call 724-352-8792 or 724-712-1233 for directions.

LYNDORA — The Oak Hills Garden Club will host a plant sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 5 at the Tanglewood Center, 10 Austin Ave. There will be plants from club members' gardens, food and a Chinese auction.

The Paul Laurence Dunbar Community Center, 501 Fairground Hill Road, will offer a summer program for children ages 5 to 12. The program will run from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday from June 9 to Aug. 20.Activities will include 4-H, guest speakers, reading time, outside play, themed days and more. RENFREW — Butler County Humane Society, 1015 Evans City Road, has reduced the adoption fee on all cat and some dog adoptions. Cats older than four months are $60. Kittens under four months are $100. SLIPPERY ROCK — Slippery Rock Lions Club will hold a broom sale 4 to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the Giant Eagle in Slippery Rock. Blind workers in Pittsburgh make the brooms. Proceeds benefit Lions Club projects to assist sight and hearing handicapped individuals in the Slippery Rock community.

KARNS CITY — Karns City High School, 1446 Kittanning Pike, will host a Broadway Junior Theater Camp from noon to 3 p.m. July 19 to 23 in the school auditorium. The camp is open to students from any school in kindergarten to grade 8 and includes training in acting, singing and dancing. The students will perform, "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown," at 7 p.m. July 24.Registration forms are at Karns City High School, Bobbie's Beauty Shoppe, Lee's School of Dance and May's Music Shoppe.
