BUTLER TWP — The Butler High School music department will present a free concert at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the auditorium of Butler High School, 100 Campus Lane. The concert choir, girl's ensemble, chanticleer singers and orchestra will perform.

HARMONY — The Harmony Museum, 218 Mercer St., will host an illustrated presentation and book signing by architectural historian Lu Donnelly at 7:30 p.m. June 8.Donnelly is principal author and editor of "Buildings of Pennsylvania: Pittsburgh and Western Pennsylvania." BUTLER TWP — Authors Paul Adomites and Dennis DeValeria will give a presentation at 5 p.m. June 4 at Pullman Park, 100 Pullman Square, on John Joseph Pinder. Pinder was a standout pitcher at Butler High School and was killed in action during World War II. Tickets include a wine and cheese reception and the 6:35 p.m. baseball game. OAKLAND TWP — The Oakland Township Municipal Building, Route 68, is the permanent site of an aluminum can recycling program. Boy Scout Troop 30 and Cub Scout Pack 30 initiated the program, which provides financial support for camp activities.
