BUTLER TWP — Jeff Schnur, principal at Butler High School, will receive the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association District 5 Outstanding Principal Award.

Each year PMEA honors a high school principal who demonstrates support and understanding of the role music education plays in school curriculum. Schnur was selected for this year.

The award will be presented at a free orchestra and choir concert at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the high school auditorium.
