PITTSBURGH — The WPIAL Baseball Coaches Association announced the squads for its seventh annual All-Star Games June 13, which include four Butler County players.
Butler's John Crummy is a member of the Class AAAA team, while Knoch's Cullen Hinderliter and Mars' Andrew Rush will play for the Class AAA team and Freeport's Ryan Siegel will suit up for the Class AA team.
The games will be played at Burkett Field in Robinson Township. The Class A vs. Class AA game will begin at 1 p.m.; the Class AAA vs. Class AAAA game at 4 p.m.
Players will be honored with a banquet at 7 p.m. June 11 at the Airport Marriott.

AKRON, N.Y. — The PA Crew U10 girls soccer team swept three games at the Kick It First Tournament by scores of 14-0, 3-2, and 5-1 this past weekend.Team members are Becca Bayne, Maggie Bartony, Paige Brady, Emma LeMay, Mary Sinan, Elise Tacik, Erin LeMay, Sarah Illingworth, Maggie Wallowicz, Ashley Illingworth and Nicole Zukowski. The team is coached by Summer Anderson.
AMADRID — Former top-ranked players Justine Henin and Maria Sharapova crashed out in the first round of the Madrid Masters.Aravane Rezai beat Henin 4-6, 7-5, 6-0, and Lucie Safarova edged Sharapova 6-4, 6-3.
