Gladys J. Weyman
Gladys J. Dauer Glies Weyman, 90, of Lakeland, Fla., formerly of Zelienople, passed away Saturday morning at her· home.
Born June 3, 1919, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Mr. Dauer and Mrs. (Anderson) Dauer.
She was a member of St. Peter's Reformed Church, Zelienople.
Mrs. Weyman had retired from Gimbel's department store, where she was a salesperson.
She was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 489, Zelienople, and also belonged to the Rebecca Lodge.
She loved camping and playing cards in several card clubs.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Weyman in 1992; a son, Elmer Glies; a brother; a granddaughter; and a great-granddaughter.
Surviving are a daughter, Greer (James) Benedict of Lakeland, Fla.; a son, David (Linda) Glies of Fombell; four stepchildren, Donald (Donna) Weyman of Harmony, Dennis (Jan) Weyman of Harmony, Kenneth Weyman and Sally of Harmony, and Sandra (Ronald) Dunbar of New York; 15 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
<B>WEYMAN</B> — Friends and relatives of Gladys J. Dauer Glies Weyman, who died Saturday, March 20, 2010, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the <B>A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home</B>, 114 W. Spring St., Zelienople. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. James Bertoti, her pastor, officiating.
