James H. 'Jim' Kline

James H. "Jim" Kline, 78, of Emlenton died at 1 p.m. Sunday at Sugarcreek Station in Franklin.

Mr. Kline was born Aug. 8, 1931, in Emlenton. He was the son of Harry F. and Edith Weller Kline.

He was a Protestant.

He enjoyed his home, gardening and traveling.

He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War, and he retired from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation after many years as an auditor.

He was a 1949 graduate of Emlenton High School.

He is survived by a sister, Judy Kammerdiener and her husband, Bill, of Columbus, Ohio; an aunt, Eila Kline of Emlenton; a longtime friend, Ron Lockwood; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and other friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Edward C. Kline.

<B>KLINE</B> — Graveside funeral services for James H. "Jim" Kline, who died Sunday, March 21, 2010, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Emlenton Cemetery, Kerr Avenue, Emlenton. Interment will follow in the Emlenton Cemetery.Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.Arrangements are under the direction of the <B>Hile Funeral Home</B>, Emlenton.
