Claude E. Surrena, 88, formerly of Marion Township, died at 1:05 p.m. Monday at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, where he lived for more than 30 years.

Born in Marion township, Nov. 4, 1921, he was the son of Harry Surrena and Wilda B. (Mortland) Surrena.

He formerly attended the Church of the Nazarene, Nectarine.

He enjoyed life to the fullest, and he enjoyed his family.

Surviving are a brother, Daniel E. Surrena of Slippery Rock, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by is parents, three sisters and five brothers.
