MOON TWP — Freeport High School television production students won five awards at the annual Student Video Festival on April 13 at Robert Morris University.

Senior Andrew Vento won for his full-length documentary "Inside Frank," which profiled the life and art of Frank Ferraro, an artist struggling with Parkinson's disease.

He also won the Best of Show award.

Juniors Jamie Fergus, Hayley Mowatt and Rachel Grubbs won for their news magazine feature on the regional chorus festival.

Christian Heilman won in the performing arts category for a "mockumentary" about teachers' use of technology.

The students in Television Production I and II won for the instructional video "Five Ultimate Dance Moves."
