Charles F. Jordan

Charles F. Jordan, 86, of Chippewa Township, Beaver County, died Sunday in Heritage Valley Beaver.

Born June 14, 1923, in Hilliards, a son of the late Michael and Susan Burger Jordan, he was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during World War II.

He retired from Westinghouse after more than 20 years.

Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, David C. and Pam Jordan of Chippewa Township; a daughter and son-in-law, Eileen R. Jordan and Richard Lunn of Enon Valley; a brother, Fred Jordon of Mercer; two sisters, Kathryn Booze of Chippewa Township and Anne Lakins of Asheville, N.C.; three grandchildren, Mark David, Stephanie Michelle and Kevin Michael Jordan, all of Chippewa Township; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Agnes M. Boyce Jordan, on July 10, 1991; three brothers, Mike, John and Andrew Jordon; and three sisters, Sue Zirot, Mary Harpar and Julia Jordan.

<B>JORDAN</B> — Friends of Charles F. Jordan, who died Sunday, March 7, 2010, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the <B>LUTTON CHIPPEWA FUNERAL HOME</B>, 117 Blackhawk Road, www.luttonfuneralhome.com, where a blessing service will be conducted at noon Thursday with Father James Farnan officiating. Entombment will follow in Sylvania Hills Mausoleum, Daugherty Township.The Veteran's Honor Guard will meet at the cemetery at 12:30 p.m. Thursday to present full military honors.Contributions may be made, if you so desire, to the McGuire Memorial Home, 2119 Mercer Road, New Brighton, PA 15066.
