Gail Marie Richards
In the time we all are given by the good Lord to dwell on this earth, we will have a great deal of experiences.
Collectively, these experiences and the people we share them with are, in the end, what will make up a lifetime of memories that will forever live in the hearts of those who were touched by our lives.
The memories that we hold most dear are the ones that we have been fortunate enough to share with the people who we call our "family," whether the term is used in the biological sense or otherwise.
In her passing, Gail Marie Richards has left her family and a far-reaching extended family of friends with the lasting memory of a selfless women, whose infectious warmth and giving nature touched the lives of most everyone she ever met. As a daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend, she showed us what it means to live life with compassion and conviction.
Although her life was far too short, she nonetheless managed to fill it with enough unwavering love to last a dozen lifetimes.
Although we are deeply saddened by her departure from her physical life here on earth, comfort is found in the belief that she has been reborn to a new life where she walks hand in hand with God in heaven surrounded by his eternal love.
In her personal and professional life, Gail was truly a noteworthy servant of the Lord. She actively participated in volunteer work in her community, whether that community was Pittsburgh, her home of nearly 46 years, or her new home of Brooklet, Ga.
Although life will go on in her absence, the impact of her passing will be felt by many. She left the world having made it a better place for the rest of us to live in.
She is survived by her husband, Tom Richards; two sons, Brian and Chris; her father, Don Minick; her mother-in-law, Karen Minick; nephews, Greg, Keith and Ryan; niece, Angela; daughters-in-law, Katie and Nicole; and grandchildren, Levi, Myles and Travis.
