Michael and Jodie Vero

Jodie Doebert and Michael Vero, both of Butler, were united in marriage Nov. 14, 2009 in Paradise Island, Nassau, the Bahamas. The Rev. Matthew Sweeting officiated. A reception followed on the Norwegian Sky cruise ship in the Bahamas.

The bride is the daughter of Dennis and Sandy Doebert of Plymouth, Wisc. Parents of the bridegroom are Fred and Deborah Vero of Butler.

The maid of honor was Amy Edelen of Owensboro, Ky. The bridesmaid was Megan Fair of Cincinnati.

Performing the duties of best man was Ian Hammonds of Butler. The usher was Travis Gallagher of Butler.

The bride is a 1999 graduate of Plymouth High School in Plymouth, Wisc., and a 2002 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. She graduated in 2008 with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Logan College of Chiropractic. She is employed by ChiroFitness in Forest Hills.

The bridegroom graduated in 2000 from Butler High School and in 2004 from Indiana (Pa.) University. He graduated in 2008 with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Logan College of Chiropractic. He is employed by Butler Chiropractic Associates in Butler.

Following a honeymoon trip to the Bahamas, the couple is making their home in Butler.
