SAXONBURG — District Judge Sue Haggerty recently heard these cases:
Michael Guttilla, 23, of Ingomar, Allegheny County, waived to court charges of possessing a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, driving at an unsafe speed and not using turn signals, filed March 16 by state police.
Joseph Jean, 30, of Pittsburgh waived to court charges of driving under the influence, a stop sign violation and not using turn signals, filed March 13 by Buffalo Township police.
Michael Macurdy, 37, of Saxonburg waived to court charges of DUI and careless driving, filed March 8 by Saxonburg police.
James McCloskey, 47, of Butler waived to court charges of criminal mischief, unauthorized use of a vehicle, DUI, hit-and-run, failing to immediately notify police of an accident and driving with a suspended license, filed in two separate complaints Feb. 22 and 25 by Penn Township police.
Amanda McLaughlin, 31, of Vandergrift, Westmoreland County, had charges of possessing drug paraphernalia, driving without insurance, unauthorized use of registration, driving a vehicle without inspection and unlawful transfer of vehicle ownership held for court. They were filed March 4 by Buffalo Township police.
Jonathan Ritenour, 21, of Renfrew waived to court charges of DUI, careless driving and reckless driving, filed March 2 by state police.
BUTLER TWP — District Judge Kevin O'Donnell recently heard these cases:Raymond A. Cox, 26, of Butler pleaded guilty to a charge of possessing a small amount of marijuana, filed Feb. 22 by Butler Township police.Jeremy M. Flood, 34, of Butler pleaded guilty to charges of possessing a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, and public drunkenness, filed Feb. 17 by Butler Township police. Flood was ordered to pay $658.50 in fines and court costs.Stephanie M. Graham, 28, of Butler pleaded guilty to a charge of criminal mischief, filed Jan. 25 by Butler Township police. Graham was ordered to pay $243.26 in fines and court costs.Matthew R. Green, 22, of Evans City pleaded guilty to charges of possessing a small amount of marijuana and driving a vehicle without inspection, filed Feb. 22 by Butler Township police. Green was ordered to pay $702 in fines and court costs.Joseph M. Guadagni II, 24, of Butler pleaded guilty to a charge of possessing a small amount of marijuana, filed Feb. 22 by Butler Township police. Guadagni was ordered to pay $613.50 in fines and court costs.Jesse L. Kelly, 29, of Butler waived to court charges of driving under the influence and trespass, filed Feb. 16 by Butler Township police.Richard B. Menchyk, 25, of Butler had seven counts of retail theft, filed Feb. 25 by Butler County Community College police, held for court.Jennifer L. Ours, 38, of Kittanning waived to court a charge of bad checks, filed Feb. 12 by Butler Township police.Nicole R. Mahood, 28, of Slippery Rock pleaded guilty to a charge of possessing drug paraphernalia, filed Sept. 23 by state police. Mahood was ordered to pay $649.50 in fines and court costs.Jeffrey E. West Jr., 28, of Butler pleaded guilty to a charge of theft, filed March 1 by Butler Township police. West was ordered to pay $563.50 in fines and court costs.Nathan A. Young, 41, of Lyndora pleaded guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct, filed Feb. 23 by Butler Township police. Young was ordered to pay $258.50 in fines and court costs.
CHICORA — District Judge Lewis Stoughton recently heard these cases filed by state police:Jason Lee Best, 24, of Butler had charges of receiving stolen property, retail theft and possession of drug paraphernalia, filed Jan. 14, held for court.James Brumley, 23, of Butler waived to court two counts of trespass and a charge of criminal mischief, filed March 24.Thomas Cipolla, 27, of Butler had charges of trespass, and possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, filed Feb. 24, held for court.Brett Hildebrand, 25, of Karns City pleaded guilty to charges of theft by deception and false reports to law enforcement authorities, filed March 23. Hildebrand was ordered to pay $1,737 in restitution, fines and court costs.Eric Huba, 40, of Butler waived to court charges of driving under the influence, driving at an unsafe speed, careless driving, driving a vehicle with unsafe equipment and not wearing a seat belt, filed Dec. 30.Brian Mershimer, 32, of Butler waived to court charges of theft, attempted theft and unauthorized use of a vehicle, filed in two complaints Jan. 12 and March 6.Douglas Pennington, 32, of Fenelton waived to court charges of DUI, failing to keep right, failing to carry his driver's license, driving without rear lights and not wearing a seat belt, filed Dec. 14.Steven R. Spare, 25, of Butler pleaded guilty to a charge of possessing drug paraphernalia, filed Feb. 12. Spare was ordered to pay $1,164.50 in fines and court costs.
