Actually, i am not sure what it is that you all expect from DM, or from ANY rep for that matter.

I would prefer that the state and federal government do LESS. not more. I would prefer that they do their duties as enumerated in their respective constitutions, then leave us alone. We, as Americans, can do a pretty good job of solving our own problems if they would just leave us alone. Many of you seem to want more and more government in your lives. I want less. A lot less.

Stephanie, i will work for both if needed. Please don;t be so hypocritical. How many days did Obama do his job as senator before he went on the campaign trail? How about Biden? Did either of them step down or stop collecting their paychecks? If they had lost, they would have been right back there in the senate, so don't be so selective with your outrage.

Edward, i don't hate anyone, especially in the political process. I am more of a centrist. I lean moderate to liberal on most social issues, and more conservative on fiscal ones. I do not agree with some of DM's positions on social issues, and i agree with him mostly on his fiscal issue positions. But i have stayed engaged in the political process most of my adult life. I was very active in the Democratic party until the progressives started calling the shots, and voices of moderation were laughed out of meetings.

Liz, stop looking to Metcalfe and government to improve where we live and go to work everyday. IMO, that's YOUR job, MY job, EDWARDS job, ETC. I try to do things that improve where i live. We all should.
