Kathryn A. Snow, 76, of the Chicora Medical Center, formerly of Bradys Bend, died Thursday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

She was born Aug. 25, 1933, in Pottsville, the daughter of John E. and Nora E. Caslow Long.

Mrs. Snow was a 1951 graduate of East Brady High School. She delivered food and clothing to Haven in Kittanning, was a volunteer for the USA Freedom Corps, a Special Olympics partner, and served as a Cub Scout den mother for Pack 18 in Bradys Bend.

She was a Bronze Leader in the Commanders Club of the Disabled American Veterans, a charter member of the World War II Memorial Society, and a volunteer worker at East Brady Heights, East Brady.

Mrs. Snow was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, East Brady, and a volunteer worker for the church's clothing drive. She was a member of the Good News Jail and Prison Ministry Century Club.

She is survived by three sons, Thomas E. Snow of Oakmont, Brian D. Snow of Bradys Bend, and Donald L. Snow of Ashville, N.C.; a daughter, Shelly M. Aughton of Sugarcreek Township; a sister, Esther Santore of Philadelphia; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roland L. Snow, who she married June 18, 1963, in St. Peter Episcopal Church, Butler, and who died Dec. 24, 2004; three brothers; and a granddaughter.

<B>SNOW —</B> Friends of Kathryn A. Snow, who died Thursday, Feb. 11, 2010, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the <B>CHARLES B. BUECHELE FUNERAL HOME</B>, 105 Fourth Street, East Brady, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the First Presbyterian Church East Brady. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Jack Moriarty, pastor, officiating. A private burial will be held in the Bradys Bend Cemetery, Bradys Bend.
