Wilson J. Hoffman Jr., 76, of Hiram, Ohio, formerly of East Brady, died Saturday at his home.

Born Nov. 19, 1933, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Wilson J. and Minnie E. (Morton) Hoffman.

A graduate of East Brady High School, he served in the Ohio National Guard from June 2, 1961, to June 1, 1964.

He was an emeritus professor of history at Hiram College, Hiram.

Mr. Hoffman was a Methodist.

Surviving is a brother, Frank Hoffman of Grove City.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Hoffman Jr., who died Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010, will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Bradys Bend Cemetery with the Rev.
