Duespohl, Griffie
Melissa Duespohl of Chicora and Dustin Griffie of East Brady were united in marriage Oct. 24 at Chicora Alliance Church. The Rev. Mark Wallace officiated. A reception followed at the Sugarcreek Fire Hall.
The bride is the daughter of Dennis and Pamela Duespohl of Chicora. Parents of the bridegroom are Perry and Linda Griffie of East Brady.
The honor attendant was Melinda Ealy of Chicora. The junior maid of honor was Lindsey Duespohl of Chicora. Bridesmaids included Allison Shiring of Ford City, Paula Lucas of Butler, Nicole Collar of East Brady, Renee Wetzel of East Brady and Christie Griffie of East Brady. The flower girls were Cheyanne Smith, Kya Wetzel and Chloe Shiring.
Performing the duties of best man was Darren Laughlin of Sligo. The junior best man was Tyler Yough of Chicora. Ushers included Dustin Laughlin of Sligo, Keith Flemming of Sligo, Justin Wagner of East Brady, Kevin Wetzel of Chicora and Todd Hertweck of Chicora.
Greeters were Matthew Yough and Brianna Ealy, both of Chicora.
The bride is a 2005 graduate of Karns City High School and a 2008 graduate of Butler County Community College. She is employed by UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.
The bridegroom graduated in 2004 from Karns City High School. He is employed by UFP in Parker.
Following a honeymoon trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple is making their home in East Brady.
