Horn Jr.

Robert W. Horn Jr., 81, of Butler, formerly of Allentown, died Thursday at Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot.

Born April 20, 1928, in Allentown, he was the son of Robert W. Horn Sr. and Ruth (Hess) Horn.

He served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Manchester from 1946 to 1950 as a fire control man.

He had worked at Giant Eagle in Butler.

He enjoyed reading, writing and being with people.

Surviving is his daughter, Bonnie McNeil of Butler.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his first wife, Ida Mae (Kauff) Horn, in 1980; and his second wife, Anna Z. Bee Horn, in 2001.
