Haugh

Harriet I. Haugh, 82, of East Brady died Tuesday at her home.

Born May 9, 1927, in Seybertown, Bradys Bend Township, Armstrong County, she was the daughter of Willis J. and Laura E. (Wiant) Seybert.

She was the wife of the late Stanley S. "Stan" Haugh, whom she married Aug. 22, 1947.

A 1944 graduate of East Brady High School, she served as a Republican Committee Women in Clarion County.

She enjoyed gardening, sewing, hummingbirds, reading and especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

Mrs. Haugh was a Clarion County 911 line tester for more than 35 years and was an EMT for the East Brady Ambulance Service for many years. She also worked as a personal care giver for many years in the East Brady area.

She was a longtime member of the former Christian and Missionary Alliance Church in East Brady. She served as president of the Women's Missionary Alliance for many years. She also was a deaconess at the church.

She also was a member of the Bradys Bend Historical Society and American Legion Auxiliary Post 402 of East Brady.

Surviving are two daughters, Lynn Long and her husband, Albert, of Rochester, Pa., and Donna E. Pyle and her companion, Dennis Sebring, of Chicora; a son, Michael E. Haugh and his wife, Mary Ann, of Queenstown; two sisters, Lois Murphy of Butler and Sara Cisco of Fayetteville, N.C.; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are special friends Barry and Pamela Moore of East Brady.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley, who died March 21, 2008; her parents; a sister; a brother; a son-in-law; and four great-grandchildren.

<B>HAUGH </B>— Friends of Harriet I. Haugh, who died Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2010, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the <B>Charles B. Buechele Funeral Home</B>, 105 Fourth St., East Brady. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Jerry Pyle, pastor of the Christian & Missionary Alliance Church of Arbuckle, Pa., officiating.
