The Performing Arts Series at BC3 will feature the Pittsburgh Philharmonic in "Amore!" at 8 p.m. March 19 in the Succop Theater.

Later events in the performing arts season are the Pittsburgh Philharmonic in "Sights and Sounds" at 3 p.m. May 23 and Route 66, featuring hit songs from the late '50s and early '60s, at 8 p.m. April 15.
The final event in the 2009-10 performing arts series at SRU is Barrage staging the fiddle-fest "Animado!" The evening will feature an international cast performing an eclectic mix of music, song and dance.The performance is at 7:30 p.m. March 20. Tickets are $20 for adults, $18 for senior citizens, $18 for children and youth, and $8 for SRU students.
The Henrik Ibsen play "An Enemy of the People" will be staged March 11 to 13 in Ketler Auditorium of the Pew Fine Arts Center.The play critiques the press, the rationale of the masses and the hidden agenda of politicians.Performances are at 7:30 p.m. each day.Admission is free, but tickets are required. Pitt's Center for Latin American Studies will host the 30th annual Latin American and Caribbean Festival from noon to midnight March 27 in the William Pitt Union, 3959 Fifth Ave., Oakland.The festival will feature food, crafts, and music and dance performances.Call 412-648-7394 for more information.
