Alice May Furnia
Alice May Furnia, 68, of Zelienople died Monday at her home.
Born Feb. 7, 1941, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late William J. and Bertie Hardie Stacy.
Mrs. Furnia was a former member of Zion Lutheran Church, Middle Lancaster and a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She enjoyed playing golf and arts and crafts.
She is survived by her husband, Curtis W. Furnia, who she married Sept. 25, 2004; two sons, James H. Brain and his wife, Laura, of Flagstaff, Ariz., and Timothy R. Brain and his wife, Kristell, of El Mirage, Ariz.; three stepchildren, Raymond T. Furnia and his wife, Melissa, of Morrisonville, N.Y., Reneé Larson and her husband, Bob, and Raechelle Archer and her husband, Michael, both of Plattsburgh, N.Y.; three grandchildren, Austin, Tara and Kaydee Brain; nine step-grandchildren; a step-great-grandson; a brother, Dennis W. Stacy and his wife, Nancy, of Cranberry Township; a sister Janice W. Weaver and her husband, Robert Sr., of Harmony and a stepbrother; Larry Spaulding of Phoenix.
<B>FURNIA </B>— Friends of Alice May Furnia, who died Monday, Feb. 1, 2010, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., today at the <B>Boylan Funeral Home</B>, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. James R. Bertoti, officiating.
