Jodi L. Pierrel Hinchberger, 49, of Butler went home to be with the Lord at 5:21 a.m. Saturday in the West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh following a battle with cancer.

Born July 27, 1960, in Butler, she was the daughter of Joseph H. Pierrel and Leona M. Stamm Pierrel.

Jodi was a member of First Baptist Church in Butler.

She was a labor and delivery nurse at West Penn Hospital for 21 years.

She was a member of the Rubber Dolls stamping club. Jodi enjoyed doing crafts and was an avid NASCAR fan, and she loved to watch the Pittsburgh Penguins and Steelers.

Jodi is survived by two sons, Joe Hinchberger and Josh Hinchberger, both of Butler. Also surviving are her parents, Joe and Leona Pierrel of Butler; one brother, Jay and his wife, Melissa Pierrel of Butler; her grandmother, Zelma Stamm of Butler; and several nieces and nephews.

<B>HINCHBERGER</B> — Friends of Jodi L. Pierrel Hinchberger, who died Saturday, Jan. 30, 2010, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday at the <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home Inc.</B>, 124 E. North St., Butler. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church with Pastor Dave Maitland of First Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Burial Estates.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 320 Bilmar Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15205-4620; or to the Slippery Rock Baptist Youth Camp, 130 Elliott Lane, Slippery Rock, PA 16057.Information and a private guest book are available at www.thompson-miller.com.
