• March 15 — Crop Insurance spring sales closing date

Note: FSA programs normally do not require crop insurance with exception of disaster programs and facility loans.

• March 15 — NAP coverage closing date for crops that are not insurable

• March 17 — Butler County Farm-City Banquet

• March 18 — County committee meeting

• March 30 — Deadline to request a commodity loan on 2009 crop small grains.
