Betty J. Summerville
Betty J. Summerville, 87, of Butler passed away Tuesday at her home.
She was born Sept. 22, 1922, in West Sunbury, the daughter of the late James Floyd Smith and Florence (Boozel) Smith.
She worked at the Butler Stamping Co. for many years.
She attended the Christian Missionary Alliance Church.
She enjoyed bowling and spending time with her many grandchildren.
Surviving are two daughters, Rebecca Newton and Jacquelin and Roger Daugherty; seven sons, Robert J. and Donna Summerville, Donald Summerville, James "Rick" and Barbara Summerville, Timothy and Lynn Summerville, Daniel Summerville, Mark and Tina Summerville and Alan "Todd" and Sally Summerville; 24 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; four brothers, Art, William, Todd and Robert Smith; and a sister, Ruth Smith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, seven brothers, three sisters, two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
