David Patrick Duncan, 58, of East Butler passed away Friday as a result of an automobile accident.

He was born Dec. 21, 1951, in Butler, the son of the late David and Florence Duncan.

David was a veteran of the Navy and was a member of the American Legion Post 119.

He enjoyed hunting.

He retired from Butler School District as a janitor.

Surviving are a daughter, Amanda Sosa of Butler; a son, Patrick Duncan of Butler; two grandchildren, Bradley and Gaij Duncan; a sister, Barbara Duncan of Butler; two brothers, William and Clint Duncan both of Butler; and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.
