Anna R. Snyder

Anna R. Snyder, 90, of East Brady died Monday in the Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born March 21, 1919, in Kaylor, she was a daughter of the late Ludwig and Anna (Frieters) Rottman.

She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Snyder was a member of St. Paul's Community Church, the Order of the Eastern Star in East Brady, the Democratic Club and the TOPS Club.

She enjoyed playing cards, crafts, spending time with grandchildren and friends and always cooked Sunday meals for her family.

Surviving are her children, Ludwig Samuel Snyder and his wife, Judy, of Mauldin, S.C., Audrey Jackson and her husband, Carl, of Chicora, John Snyder and his wife, Nancy, of Butler and Carol Best and her husband, Jack, of Callensburg; a daughter-in-law, Ruth Snyder of New Bethlehem; 16 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Russell Snyder; a son, Russell Snyder Jr.; a great-granddaughter, Jessica Fair; a son-in-law, Edward Eisenhuth; a daughter-in-law, Linda Snyder; three brothers, Karl, Ludwig and Henry Rottman; and a sister, Sophie Barger.

<B>SNYDER</B> — Friends of Anna R. Snyder, who died Monday, Jan. 25, 2010, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>SNYDER-CRISSMAN FUNERAL HOME </B>in Cowansville. Additional visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul's Community Church with the Rev. Randall Forester, church pastor, officiating.
