Nadolny

Richard J. "Skip" Nadolny, 84, of Lower Burrell died Wednesday at his home with his family by his side.

He was born April 19, 1925, in Natrona, a son of the late Frank Nadolny and Nora (Juniak) Nadolny.

He lived in Lower Burrell for 57 years.

He was employed by PPG Creighton as a crane operator for 44 years.

He was a member of St. Margaret Mary Roman Catholic Church, Lower Burrell, a life member of Lower Burrell Fire Company 33 and a member of the Eagle Eucher Club.

He loved to fish, hunt, play poker and spend time at his camp with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant sister, Bernette Nadolny; and a daughter-in-law, Debbie Dorsey Nadolny.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Sara Gumbert Nadolny; three sons, Richard A. Nadolny of Annapolis, Md., Thomas (Wendy) Nadolny of West Sunbury and Ronald (Sharon) Nadolny of Allegheny Township; four grandchildren, Mandy Nadolny Pierce of Butler, Joshua (Sara) Nadolny of Knightdale, N.C., Danielle Nadolny of Allegheny Township and Spc. Nicholas Nadolny of Fort Stewart, Ga.; and two great-grandchildren, Rachel Pierce and Chase Pierce.

<B>NADOLNY </B>— Friends of Richard J. "Skip" Nadolny, who died Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2010, were received Friday in the <B>FRANK F. GIGLER FUNERAL HOME</B>, Lower Burrell. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Saturday in St. Margaret Mary Roman Catholic Church, Lower Burrell.
