Schweinegruber

Mildred Elizabeth Schweinegruber, 98, of Zelienople died Monday at UPMC North Hills Passavant Hospital. She had been a resident of Passavant Retirement Community in Zelienople since November 2004.

Born Aug. 20, 1911, in Ohio, she was the daughter of Arthur Lindley Stanley and Pearl (Weaver) Stanley.

Mrs. Schweinegruber was a member of Grace Church in Harmony where she was a member of the Joy Bells Sunday School Class.

She and her husband spent many winters in Florida after he retired. Mrs. Schweinegruber enjoyed doing craft projects, vacations at the beaches in North Carolina, collecting seashells and being a mother, homemaker and spending time with family.

Surviving are two sons, Lynn O. Schweinegruber of Evans City and Larry L. Schweinegruber and his wife, Cathy, of Fombell; a daughter, Arlene K. Fleek and her husband, Arthur of Cary, N.C.; six grandchildren, Keith Schweinegruber, Tyanna Rausch, Stefanie Cusick, Eric Fleek, Melissa Fleek Lovsin and Ryan Fleek; and three great-grandchildren, Tyler, Natasha and Sammy.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Oakley Schweinegruber, who died June 30, 2004; and a brother, Merlin Stanley of Damascus, Ohio, who died in 1965.

<B>SCHWEINEGRUBER</B> — Friends of Mildred Elizabeth Schweinegruber, who died Monday, Jan. 18, 2010, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at <B>Boylan Funeral Home</B>, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Grace Church of Harmony with the Rev. Peter Everett, her church pastor, officiating. Friends are asked to meet at the church. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Burial Estates, Mount Chestnut.A memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Seaman Memorial Chapel at Passavant Retirement Community, 401 S.
