Linda June Collins, 58, of Gibsonia, formerly of Miami, Fla., died Jan. 11 from breast cancer.

Linda was born Nov. 7, 1951, in Pittsburgh and was the loving daughter of Josephine (Klejbach) Collins and the late William "Red" Collins.

Linda was the loving sister of Bill Collins of Miami, Fla., Larry (Karen) Collins of Valencia, Don (Judi Stadler) Collins of Carnegie, Kathleen (Paul) Fetterman of Gibsonia, Marcia Collins of Snellville, Ga., and Sharon (Randy) Beals of Sewickley. She was a loving aunt of Brian, Stacey, Angela, Jessica, April, Alex, Justin, Robby, Connor, Kristin, Marissa, Brandon and Austin; and godmother to Alex.

Linda was a 1969 graduate of Richland High School in Gibsonia and lived in Miami for the past 32 years. She moved back to Gibsonia in July 2009 to be close to her family as she fought her battle against cancer.

While in Florida, she worked in advertising and public relations for Eastern Airlines, Ryder & Schild and the Beber Silverstein Group.

Linda enjoyed her creative side dealing with work and co-workers at Beber Silverstein and missed it tremendously when she moved back home to Gibsonia. Beber Silverstein was truly her "second" family while she worked and lived in Miami.
