Janet Thomas, 77, of Zelienople died Jan. 6 at Ellwood City Hospital.

Born Sept. 4, 1932, in Greensburg, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Gladys (Meyers) Thomas.

Miss Thomas was a Lutheran, and she enjoyed traveling and animals.

She is survived by her sister, Jean Rogers of Westmoreland City, Pa.; three nieces, Bonnie Nolan of Harmony, Marcia Schoppe and her husband, David, of New Sewickley Township and Dana Shelton and her husband, John, of Warminster, Pa; and a nephew, Shawn Anthony and his wife, Amy, of Renfrew.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Kathleen Sutton and Gladys Nolan, and a brother, Jack Thomas.
