David Reed McKee of Rolla, Mo., passed away Wednesday at the age of 38.

David was born March 25, 1971, in Butler, to William L. McKee and Barbara J. (Hoffman) McKee. His father, William McKee, preceded him in death in August 2008.

On May 25, 1995, he married Deborah (Rettig) McKee.

David enjoyed fly fishing, golfing and collecting classic cars.

He was a member of the Downtown Business Association and the Rolla Kiwanis Club. He served on the board of C.O.R.E., the Oak Meadow Country Club, and the Chamber of Commerce.

Dave will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, son and friend to many.

David will be sadly missed by his surviving family, which includes his wife, Deborah McKee at home; two daughters, Emma and Anne McKee, both at home; his mother, Barbara McKee of Rolla; one brother, Shawn McKee and his wife, Deborah of Fortville, Ind.; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bill and Deborah Rettig of Wheeling, W.Va.; an aunt, Saundra McKee of Manorville, Pa.; an uncle and aunt, Richard and Renee Skinner of Peachtree City, Ga.; a brother-in-law, Bill Rettig and wife, Barb of Centerville, Ohio; and nieces and nephews, Luke, Brody, Brittney, Jake, Connor and Madison.

<B>MCKEE</B> — Visitation for David Reed McKee, who died Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2010, will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the First Christian Church in Rolla. A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the church. Pastors Tim Cook and Chris Foster will officiate.
