Seezox

Donna A. "Teets" Seezox, 71, of Old Plank Road, Butler, died Wednesday at Allegheny General Hospital surrounded by her family.

Teets was born Aug. 16, 1938, in Butler, a daughter of the late R. LaVerne and Helen Karabogdan Rausch.

She was a 1956 graduate of Butler High School and was the Butler High majorette for 1956.

Donna worked as a clerk and secretary for the Butler Township Treasurer's office for more than 35 years until her retirement in 2001.

She was an active member of the St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler. She was a member of the St. Paul Guild and Christian Mothers and a member of the St. Paul Choir. She also served as a Eucharistic minister and volunteered as a money counter at her church.

Teets was a member of the Blazing Star Choral Society, the Occasional Divas and the Thursday Morning Bowling League at Sherwood Lanes. She was a founding member of Panera's Breakfast Club and was a member of a private card club for more than 50 years.

Donna married Adam M. "Babes" Seezox on May 17, 1958. Mr. Seezox preceded her in death on Jan. 6, 1993.

Surviving are her children and their spouses, Steven M. and Elvira Seezox of Tucson, Ariz., Lori L. and Jack Bickel of Butler and Vicki M. and Nick Mudrick, also of Butler; her sister, Debbe Snow and her husband, Tom Snow, of Butler; and six grandchildren, Amy Reese and her fiance, George Stiles, Justin Reese, Steve and Daniela Seezox, and Haley and Jillian Mudrick.

<B>SEEZOX </B>—<B> </B>Friends of Donna A. "Teets" Seezox, who died Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2010, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, Butler. Interment will follow at the Calvary Cemetery.The St. Paul Guild and Christian Mothers will meet at 9:40 a.m. Monday at the church to recite the rosary.Memorial donations may be made to the Butler Health System Foundation, 911 E.
