Mildred A. Ehm
Mildred A. Ehm, 85, of Butler died Sunday evening at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born June 5, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Andrew M. and Hilda Libell Ehm.
Mildred was retired as the secretary and an associate of the former Walter L. Wimer and Associates architectural and engineering firm in Butler. She had worked there for 34 years from 1942 until 1976. She later worked for several years at the St. Peter Catholic Church parish office.
She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Butler, the Women's Council of St. Peters, and had been a former member of the Associated Artists of Butler County. Mildred was a talented artist, who did paintings in watercolors and oils on canvas, wood, tile and even rock. She had won several awards for her creations.
She is survived by her sister, Geraldine L. Ehm of Butler; and several cousins.
<B>EHM</B> — Family and friends of Mildred A. Ehm, who died Sunday, Jan. 10, 2009, are invited to attend a memorial Mass at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Peter Catholic Church, 127 Franklin St. The Rev. James Dolan, pastor, will officiate. There will be no visitation.
