Deborah S. Roenigk
Deborah S. Roenigk of Spring Garden Township, York County, died Friday at York Hospital.
She was the wife of former Cabot area resident J. Richard Roenigk for 37 years.
In addition, Deborah is survived by a son, Landon Roenigk of York; a daughter, Lauralee Roenigk of Ocean, N.J.; and a nephew, Jason Klotkowski, his wife, Danielle, and their daughter, Stella, of Norristown, Pa.
She also was preceded in death by a sister, Judith Klotkowski.
Born in Altoona, a daughter of the late John H. and Annetta (Walker) Allen, she was a graduate of Pennsylvania State University in 1971.
She was a home economics teacher for more than 20 years at several schools and retired from the Red Lion Junior High School in 2004.
Her dedication to teaching did not surpass her passion for her family, friends and home.

Roenigk, who died Friday, Jan. 8, 2010, will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday at <B>Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors</B>, 863 S. George St., York. Funeral services will follow at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Father Louis Petruha, O.F.M., Cap. officiating.
