Robert S. Sheppeck
Robert Stephen Sheppeck, 71, of Dutchtown Road, Butler, died at 10:25 a.m. Tuesday in UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh.
Born Nov. 13, 1938, in Butler, he was the son of the late Stephen Sheppeck and Helen Davis Sheppeck.
Mr. Sheppeck worked for Armco in the melt shop combustion department, retiring in 1997 after 38 years.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Mr. Sheppeck was a member of the Christ Outreach Church.
Mr. Sheppeck is survived by his wife, Sandra (Renno) Sheppeck, who he married June 20, 1959; three sons, William S. and his wife, Cindy, Sheppeck of Butler, Robert S. and his wife, Kelly, Sheppeck of Butler and Daniel S. and his wife, Maria, Sheppeck of Ambridge; a daughter, Marci S. and her husband, Wes, Hawkins of Franklin, Ind.; eight grandchildren, Amanda, Joshua and Caleb Sheppeck, Drew, Ryan and Paige Hawkins and Ethan and Nathan Sheppeck; one sister, Brenda Heider and her husband, Albert, of Butler; two brothers, William and his wife, Linda, Sheppeck of Savannah, Ga., and Charles and his wife, Gina, Sheppeck of Bolivar, Mo.; a sister-in-law, Cathy Sheppeck of Butler; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Sheppeck was preceded in death by a brother, James A. Sheppeck.
<B>SHEPPECK</B> — Friends of Robert Stephen Sheppeck, who died Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2010, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St., Butler. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Daniel Ledford of Westminster Presbyterian Church in America officiating.
