FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — The Indianapolis Colts insist Pro Bowl defensive end Dwight Freeney has a low ankle sprain, not a torn ligament, and that he remains questionable for next weekend's Super Bowl.

Team spokesman Craig Kelley said Freeney was being treated in Florida for a basketball-type injury, nothing more.

MIAMI — Quarterbacks Peyton Manning and Tom Brady joined two-time selections Willie Roaf, Larry Allen and Warren Sapp among the 53 players announced as members of the NFL's All-Decade team.Bill Belichick and Tony Dungy were selected as the best coaches of the decade, and Dante Hall made it as both a kick and punt returner.Roaf, Allen and Sapp were also part of the 1990s team.Manning and Colts defensive end Dwight Freeney, along with New Orleans safety Darren Sharper, were part of the team and will be playing in the Super Bowl.

SAN DIEGO — Ben Crane put his name back in the news for the best reason of all. He won another golf tournament.Crane made two birdie putts longer than 45 feet to build a big enough cushion that missing a few short putts down the stretch didn't cost him in the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines.Crane knocked in a 30-inch par putt on the final hole for a 2-under 70 and a one-shot victory over Michael Sim, Brandt Snedeker and Marc Leishman. It was Crane's third career victory, first in nearly five years, and earned him a trip to the Masters.Crane finished at 13-under 275. Sim shot 71, and Snedeker closed with a 69 after narrowly missing a 12-foot birdie on the last hole. Leishman had a 68.

DOHA, Qatar (AP) — Sweden's Robert Karlsson won the Qatar Masters for his 10th European tour title, closing with a 7-under 65 for a three-stroke victory.The 40-year-old Karlsson, sidelined for several months last season because of an eye injury, finished at 15-under 273 at Doha Golf Club.Spain's Alvaro Quiros (67) was second in his title defense, and England's Lee Westwood (70) and Australia's Brett Rumford (69) followed at 11 under.

Yahoo! Sports is reporting that New Orleans Hornets guard Chris Paul will have arthroscopic knee surgery and could be sidelined for one to two months.Paul first hurt his left knee in a game at Golden State on Wednesday.
