Kara Elliott and Jeffrey Shuty

A May wedding is being planned by Kara Elliott and Jeffrey Shuty, both of Slippery Rock.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of William Elliott Sr. of Slippery Rock and the late Kathryn Elliott. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are James Shuty of Franktown, Va., and the late Eleanore Shuty.

The bride-elect is a 1994 graduate of Slippery Rock High School. She also attended Slippery Rock University. She is employed by NexTier Bank in Slippery Rock.

Her fiance graduated in 1993 from Slippery Rock High School. He also attended Edinboro University. He is employed by Northern Surveyors in Slippery Rock.
