Robert Sherman's Lawn Mower Repair, that's who.

Asked about why he would advertise in winter for a summer kind of service, Sherman said, "I've always done it, and now I keep the ad in year-round to let my customers know I'm still working."

He said Friday he has been fixing mechanical things since he was 9.

He said he continued to develop his skills through a stint in the U.S. Marine Corps and while working at Armco.

He does take time to travel — Mississippi, Great Britain, Hawaii — but then he comes home to the work that's always with him.

Retired with a few health problems, Sherman, 68, said he likes to keep it simple, do the work himself, taking his time to do it right.

"I keep working to keep myself going," he said.
