The honor came from Healthiest Employers, an awards program that honors organizations that demonstrate a commitment to employee well-being through innovative benefits, wellness initiatives and a culture that supports healthy lifestyles.

Independence Health System achieved the status by expanding virtual wellness offerings, digital coaching, online educational resources and employee communications to increase participation and engagement.
