John R. McMillen III, 31, of Port St. Lucie, Fla., passed away Tuesday at St. Lucie Medical Center.

He was born Aug. 6, 1978, in Kittanning, and lived in East Brady until seven years ago when he moved to Florida.

He graduated from Karns City High School in 1997. He loved cooking, music, movies and all of his friends.

Survivors include his parents, John and Terri McMillen of Port St. Lucie; his sister, Kristen McMillen of Port St. Lucie; his grandmother, Marjorie Heilman, also of Port St. Lucie; and his grandfather, John R. McMillen Sr. of Kittanning.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Laird D. Heilman Jr., and his grandmother, Lois V. McMillen.
