Alvin Duane Barlett
Alvin Duane Barlett, 79, of Hurst, Texas, died the evening of Dec. 15.
A native of Clarion, Alvin was born Oct. 29, 1930, to Harold and Katherine Kribbs Barlett.
He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. His memberships include the Masons, the Scottish Rite and the Shriners.
He was employed by Trinity Industries in Dallas as a maintenance supervisor. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah R. Barlett.
He is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy Barlett; children, Allen, Gary and Keith Barlett, and Fran Silverthorn; grandchildren, Jonathan Barlett, Philip Smith; stepchildren, Duane Kelley, Denise Bouffard and Dayton Strawser; three step-grandchildren; brother, Kenneth Barlett; and sisters, Maxine Jordon, Leanor Trares and Marilyn Brown.
