The Mercer Livestock Auction provided this report on its Jan. 19 sale, where 222 head were sold. Mercer's fat cattle sale, compared to last week was steady.

66 head of fat cattle: Steers at high of 81.75, active at 75 to 81.75; fat heifers, high 79.50. Holstein fat steers, up to 70.50.

Slaughter cows: High at 52.75; good cows, active 40 to 52.75.

Hogs:

Up to 52 to 62.

Feeder bulls: Up to 84.

Feeder heifers: Up to $87.50.

Bulls:

Holstein bull at 52.; colored bulls, 46.25 to 52.25.

Calves: to $67.50
