Harold Betters, known as "Mr. Trombone," will perform during the opening reception of the "Cold Winter, Hot Jazz" exhibit from 7 to 11 p.m. Saturday at The Art Center, 344 S. Main St. The Slippery Rock University Jazz Sextet will also provide music, ranging from straight-ahead standards to traditional New Orleans tunes to modern jazz.
