Eaton's hot hand drives Falcons' win over Venango

Allan Eaton tallied 31 points and 14 rebounds to power the A-C Valley boys basketball team to a 92-59 KSAC victory over Venango Catholic Tuesday.

Reed Terwilliger had 15 points, Matt Bartley had 13 points and six assists, and Josh Austin had five assists for the Falcons (11-1, 7-0).

Butler recently traveled to Geneva, Ohio, for the first meet of the year. Paige Rittelmann won the high jump, Briana Lumley was third in the shot put, Amy Metrick sixth. Erin Bell took sixth in the high jump, Hannah Williams fourth in the triple jump and Chloe Drennon sixth.Rittlemann qualified for the PIAA meet with a high jump of 5 feet, 2 inches.Tara Lowe finished eighth in the 60 meters, Katelyn Wetzel sixth in the 400 meters and Ashton Dolan fourth in the mile. The 1,600 relay team of Trisha Brandt, Emily Petrak, Wetzel and Rittelmann was fifth. The distance medley relay team of Ashley Crawford, Brandt, Petrak and Dolan was fourth.
