Leavens, Novak
A June 25 wedding is being planned by Kristine Leavens of Ellwood City and Joshua Novak of Portersville.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Elaine and Bruce Blythe of Ellwood City and Joseph and Brandi Leavens of Pittsburgh. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Kimberly and Robert Novak Jr. of Portersville.
The bride-elect is a 2002 graduate of Lincoln High School and a 2007 graduate of Edinboro University, where she received a bachelor's degree in education and a master's degree in reading. She is employed by the Slippery Rock School District as a reading teacher.
Her fiance graduated in 2003 from Slippery Rock High School. He graduated in 2007 from Edinboro University with a bachelor's degree in communications and media students and in 2009 with a master's degree from James Madison University.
