David J. McDonald Sr.

David James McDonald Sr., 65, of Waynesboro, Va., died on Sunday at his home.

Born July 7, 1944, in Butler, he was the son of Dorothy Miller McDonald of Butler and the late Hiram B. McDonald.

Mr. McDonald was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Vietnam War.

He had been the director of sales and marketing for St. Gabriel Organics and was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church and the Waynesboro Moose Lodge.

In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife, Jennifer M. McDonald; two children, David McDonald Jr. of Atlanta and Kindra McDonald of Norfolk, Va.; a stepdaughter, Jessica Corsentino of Mechanicsville, Va.; two sisters, Judy Miller of Pittsburgh and Nedra Casey of Butler; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

<B>MCDONALD</B> — Following cremation, a memorial service for David James McDonald, who died Sunday, Dec. 13, 2009, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1904 Mt. Vernon St., Waynesboro, Va., with the Rev. Dr. Jon Lovelady officiating. Military rites will be conducted by the American Legion Post 340.Memorial contributions may be made to the AH Hospice of the Shenandoah, P.O.
