Pauline M. Bly
Pauline M. Bly, 88, formerly of Seneca Drive in Harmony Borough, died Saturday in Worthington at Adams, Mars.
Born Aug. 23, 1921, in Cleveland, Ohio, daughter of the late Fred and Catherine (Stayduhar) Ferderbar, she lived in Harmony Township, Ambridge, for 27 years, and in Harmony Borough since 1972.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold W. Bly, in 1995; brother, Fred, and sister, Mary, in 1925; brother, Dr. Joseph Ferderbar in 1988; sister, Katherine Pirich in 1992; sister, Elsie Uhernik in 2000; and brother, Frank Ferderbar in 2005.
Surviving are two sons, Thomas and Sheri Bly of Shaler Township and Robert and Janice Bly of Fort Wayne, Ind.; a brother, Thomas Ferderbar of Coraopolis; sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Ferderbar of Lancaster, Pa., and Theona Ferderbar of Fair Oaks, Pa.; and five grandchildren, Mark Bly of Fort Wayne, Beth McLeish of Fort Wayne, Kristin Bly of San Diego, Calif., Amy DeMarco of Cranberry Township and Michael Bly of Shaler Township. Also surviving are four great-grandchildren and many nephews, nieces and friends.
Mrs. Bly was a former employee of Sears and Armco Steel of Ambridge.
She was a member of the St. Gregory Church of Zelienople, where she was an honorary member of the St. Ann Guild, and a former member of the Ladies Choir. She also was a lifelong member of St. Nicholas Lodge 304 of Ambridge.
<B>BLY</B> — Friends of Pauline M. Bly, who died Saturday, Dec. 5, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Boylan Funeral Home</B>, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Gregory Catholic Church, 2 W. Beaver St., Zelienople, PA 16063.
