Jeanne M. Weller, 83, of East Butler, formerly of Hooker, died Friday at Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot.

Born Feb. 24, 1926, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Daisy Bell.

Jeanne was a member of the Concord Presbyterian Church and the East Butler Fire hall. She had worked as a secretary at Butler Memorial Hospital for 20 years.

Surviving are two daughters, Gail Scheftic of Lower Burrell and Glee Weller of Butler; three grandchildren, Stephen Scheftic of Lower Burrell, Debbie Hurlburt of Mechanicsburg, and William Scheftic of Lower Burrell; and two great-grandchildren, Ryan and Adam Scheftic.
