Scott Booth netted 39 points and became the Union boys basketball programs' career scoring leader as the Knights cruised past KSAC foe Redbank Valley 87-57 Monday.

Booth, who was 12 of 12 from the free-throw line, needed 13 points to eclipse 2006 graduate Kyle Hilliard, who held the Union mark with 1,399. Booth now has 1,426 points.

Zac Smith added 17 points, Brooke Pollock had 14 points, Taylor Smith 11 points and Logan Mortimer had 10 assists, seven rebounds and four steals.

Butler finished second to Clearfield in the Brockway Big Dog Holiday Tournament last week, placing five wrestlers in the tournament finals.Mike Crawford at 145 pounds and Cole Baxter at 171 won their weight classes, while Eric Tuck, Matt Pribis and Blake Caudill finished second in theirs.The Golden Tornado had 10 wrestlers place among the top five in their respective weight classes at the 13-team event.
